BRICKS! was a project developed during my residency at Crescent Arts Centre in Belfast, when I tried to document as many limestone bricks as possible, from the building’s structure, using the processes of tracing and monoprinting. The prints were haphazardly placed on the walls around the building, in an ad hoc manner throughout the residency, reflecting the playfulness of the project and juxtaposing it to the rigidity, the harshness and the sturdiness of the limestone.
