This project is an ongoing development of work that I making as part of my current PhD research. Interdisciplinary in its nature, it attempts to encompass all the different aspects of the research (archival and field research as well as historical research), by using multiple media.

During the greek civil war of 1946-1949, twenty-nine islands of the Aegean Sea were used as places of exile for political dissidents. This research explores the obscured and marginalised stories of these islands and it aims to retell these stories by creating speculative narratives that disrupt the official knowledge, create nuanced and complicated accounts and fill the gaps.
